Apollo’s Praise Pentecostal Block Riesling is an acclaimed wine from the Finger Lakes region of New York, produced by winemakers Kelby James Russell and Julia Rose Hoyle. Sourced from the sandy sandstone soils of the Pentecostal Block at Lahoma Vineyard on Seneca Lake, it comes in a vibrant Dry Riesling (approx. 12.7% ABV) and an expressive Spätlese reserve style (approx. 8.5% ABV).
Key Characteristics & Styles
Dry Riesling: Features bright notes of grapefruit, orange pith, chamomile, blood orange, and lemongrass over a taut, wet-stone mineral finish.
Spätlese (Reserve): A riper, off-dry style offering rich pear, quince, and honeyed citrus balanced by crisp natural acidity.
Terroir: The sand-heavy sandstone soils of the north hill of Lahoma Vineyard impart a distinct mid-palate opulence and generosity. 
Winemaking: Fruit is pressed in an old-fashioned screw press, cold-settled, fermented/aged in stainless steel and old French oak barriques with lees stirring
