White Horse is Bloomer Creek’s light-hearted tribute to Cheval Blanc.The Cabernet Franc for White Horse comes from Bloomer’s Auten and Barrow Vineyards (vine age ranges from 9-25 years), the Merlot comes from Barrow Vineyard and was planted in 2015. Vinification is similar to the 2020 Cabernet Franc, with a blend of destemmed, crushed and whole cluster fruit fermented in open vats. The wine was matured for two years in oak before bottling, unfined and unfiltered.

Deep ruby in color, Bloomer Creek White Horse opens with aromas of ripe black cherry, blackcurrant, and subtle hints of black pepper and earthy undertones. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with flavors of dark fruit complemented by touches of vanilla and oak, supported by firm yet smooth tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is lingering, carrying notes of dark fruit and spice that leave a clean, refreshing impression.
