Flavor: Rich licorice and spice notes from distilled star anise oils and sugar.
Alcohol Content: Usually bottled at 40% to 42% ABV.
The “Extra” Designation: Molinari is uniquely allowed to use the term “Extra” on its label due to its high quality standards under Italian law.
How to Drink: Enjoy it neat, over ice, with a floating coffee bean (“con la mosca”), or added to espresso (caffè corretto).
