The Dalmore King Alexander III showcases The Dalmore’s commitment to the art of cask curation; it is the world’s first single malt to create an assemblage of six cask finishes. Initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, the liquid is apportioned between small batch ex-Bourbon casks, Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. These are then brought together in an in-situ Sherry butt to harmonise.
