Bertani Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a historic, dry red wine from the Veneto region of Italy, crafted by Bertani to prioritize elegance, freshness, and balance over heavy sweetness. 
Key Specifications & Profile
  • Grape Blend: 80% Corvina Veronese, 20% Rondinella. 
  • Production Zones: Valpolicella Classica (Tenuta Novare Estate in Arbizzano di Negrar). 
  • Winemaking Method: Grapes are dried for roughly 120 days on bamboo racks (arèle), crushed in January, cold-macerated, and fermented slowly. 
  • Aging: Aged for approximately 7 to 8 years in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by at least 12 months in the bottle. 

Alcohol Content: ~15.4% to 15.5% ABV. 

Tasting Notes: Intense red and garnet color with aromas of plum, cherry, tea leaves, licorice, and spices, balanced by vibrant acidity and velvety tannins.
