This is a very good Vouvray from Domaine Champalou. From the 2022 vintage, it has very typical chenin blanc aromas of honeycomb and wool. It is supplemented by some lees character. The palate is dry and light to medium bodied. Its flavours are savoury, woolly and almond skin like. Subtle high acidity emerges with time.
