Palate
  • The palate is smooth and full-bodied with initial flavors of brown sugar and molasses, followed by rich fruit and spice, and balanced by oak. 
Finish
  • The finish is long and warming, with sweetness fading to notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and tobacco, along with a gentle spice tingle and subtle oakiness. 
Additional notes
  • This rum is a blend from wooden pot and Savalle stills, aged in ex-bourbon casks for at least 12 years. Some consider it a “gateway rum” for sipping, often recommended neat or on the rocks.
