The “United States of Bourbon” by Lost Lantern Whiskey is a landmark independent bottling featuring straight bourbons from all 50 states. The inaugural release includes three expressions: a 100 Proof blend, a Cask Strength blend, and a limited 1776 Edition representing the 13 original states.

Developed over five years, co-founders Adam Polonski and Nora Ganley-Roper personally visited and selected barrels from distilleries across the country to create a true snapshot of the modern American whiskey landscape. Every component distillery is completely transparent and listed on the back of the bottle.

This release, created especially for the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, is a limited-edition counterpart to our flagship United States of Bourbon. This special 1776 edition is a blend of straight bourbon whiskies from the first 13 states.

Warm, complex, and spicy on the nose, with orange zest, dark chocolate, and walnut notes. The palate bursts with fruit and spice, with  hints of fresh-baked bread and notes of leather leading into a very long, spicy finish. Deep and complex.
