Over the last few years, Colombia Valley has over-delivered in the $20-ish dollar price point, especially for those who like their Cab’s BIGLY.  Requiem sources fruit for their Requiem Cab from three AVAs in the Columbia Valley: Walla Walla, Horse Heaven Hills, and Red Mountain. This wine is dry and decadently dense, with generous black fruit, cocoa powder, and a hint of green pepper.  It’s aged for 20 months in 40% new oak, which adds to its heft, and, once again belies the price point in your favor!
