Kentucky Nectar is a revived historic brand by Old Commonwealth Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Originally a private label from 1967, it is now a double-barreled, cask-strength, wheated straight bourbon finished in in-house seasoned honey casks

Mash Bill: 64% corn, 24% wheat, and 12% malted barley

Proof: Varies by batch (roughly 105 to 109 proof, bottled at cask strength)

Process: Raw organic honey is placed into new charred oak barrels, hand-rotated daily, drained, and then refilled with the wheated bourbon

Tasting Notes: Rich aromas of toasted honey bread, vanilla cream, and charred oak, leading to a palate of cinnamon crumb cake, toffee, and a lingering honey-graham cracker finish
